Student Technology
All students at PMHS are issued a Google Chromebook.
The mission of the 1:1 program at Prospect Mountain High School is to create a collaborative learning environment for all learners. The focus of the program is to empower its community of students to become fully active participants in our global technology driven society. The program facilitates: access to digital educational resources; availability beyond the school day; individualized learning; creativity and innovation; personal and social responsibility; critical thinking and problem solving; communication and collaboration; technology literacy skills; and college and career readiness. Students will transition from consumers of information to creative producers and owners of knowledge.

Privacy
We take students' privacy very seriously
At Prospect Mountain we realize there is great potential in taking part in the connected world. We also realize that many of these tools can compromise our students' privacy. It is for this reason that we attempt to analyze and vet any electronic tool that our students might be asked to use. At the recommendation of the U.S. Department of Education, we have established a committee to help with this process.
How does Prospect Mountain address privacy concerns?
Digital Resource Vetting
All applications and digital tools are vetted against state security requirements.
Training
All faculty and staff are trained yearly and as needed on FERPA policy and NH State law in regards to technology.
