Good Morning PMHS Parents/Guardians:

First and foremost, with Thanksgiving around the corner, PMHS wanted to remind everyone of the resources available out there should there be any issues related to food insecurity, which include:

A) Parents/Guardians can apply at any time for Free/Reduced lunch for their child by completing the application form HERE; this application becomes fillable once it is downloaded.

B) If your family would like assistance with the holidays this year, please complete the attached Thanksgiving Box Sign Up and/or the Staff Santa Sign Up forms and return them to our school social worker, Alli Bortz by dropping them off at PMHS or emailing them to abortz@pmhschool.com

C) For Alton residents, the food pantry at Alton Community Services is open on Saturday mornings from 9:30am-1:00pm. Food can also be delivered during hours of operation.

D) For Barnstead residents, the Barnstead Food Pantry is open by appointment. Call, or text, Dawn at 603-848-7648 to make an appointment.

E) If you are interested in signing up for End 68 Hours of Hunger, please reach out to our school social worker, Alli Bortz at abortz@pmhschool.com so she can connect you to your town’s team.

F) Prospect Mountain High School’s PAWsitive Impact Club is committed to keeping our Community Closet stocked with food and clothing items for our school community (e.g. students, teachers, and families). Your students are able to access food from our closet during the school day, and we can help supplement food for families outside of food pantry hours if needed. Please reach out to school social worker, Alli Bortz at abortz@pmhschool.com, or teacher Kerry Grella at kgrella@pmhschool.com if you’d like to make an appointment to come in after school.

G) For short-term, emergency needs - you can contact St. Katherine Drexel Parish Office (603-875-2548 or office@stkdrexel.org) and ask for Deacon Rick.
