The Prospect Mountain Wrestling program is proud to announce that Robert Prescott has captured the Division 3 Heavyweight State Title!
Robert’s path to the top of the podium was a masterclass in persistence. He went 3-0 on the day, punctuated by a grueling, six-minute battle in the finals against a tough opponent from Pelham. In a match that tested every ounce of his conditioning and resolve, Robert stayed composed to secure the victory and the championship.
This title is a massive milestone for Robert, who currently boasts an undefeated 20-0 record on the season. Even more impressive is the fact that he has reached this elite level in just his second year of wrestling.
What’s Next? The journey doesn’t end here. This Saturday, February 28th, Robert will travel to Pinkerton Academy to compete in the Meet of Champions (MOC). He will represent our school as one of the top 15 wrestlers in the state, competing against the best from all three divisions.
