Last Update for PMHS Seniors and their Parent/Guardians:

This is the last update for our wonderful Seniors and their parents/guardians! We have had the privilege of rehearsing with these amazing (soon to be) graduates the last four days and they are now ready to finally graduate tomorrow evening! In that vein, here are a few important FYI’s:

  • Class of 2026 Commencement, Friday, June 12, 2026, 6:00PM, PMHS

    • ALL STUDENTS MUST ARRIVE BY 5:OOPM and report to the PMHS gym

    • The virtual program can be viewed HERE

  • Marching route:

    • Staff will lead the procession starting shortly before 6:00PM by exiting the back of PMHS and walking through the middle of the bleachers where they will then enter onto the field and sit; the students will follow afterwards led by the Grand Marshals via the same route.

  • Seating:

    • All seating in the bleachers are general seating: first come first serve.

    • Furthermore, we will have an additional 300 brown chairs on the track that are also general seating: first come first serve.

    • Students and staff will be seated on the field, facing the stage.

    • PMHS student volunteer ushers will be on hand assisting with seating (if/as needed) and handing out programs.

    • If attendees wish to stand, they can do so on the hillsides, on either side of the bleachers. We ask that attendees located in the bleachers, and/or chairs on the track, remain seated during the event.

    • No audience members should be on the grass field at any time until the ceremony is over.

  • Live Feed:

    • HERE is the live link to watch the graduation live!

  • Parking:

    • Members of the public may park in the spots along the softball field and in the main parking lot. There is overflow parking as well by the tennis courts. No one should be parking along the main road and main driveway unless they are in a designated, lined parking spot.

  • Safety:

    • Alton Police Officers will be on hand for event safety and security.

    • Parents/guardians: please remind your graduates that all school rules are still in effect.

Sincerely,

The PMHS Administration
